Mastodon pregatesc un album dublu

Cel de-al saptelea material semnat Mastodon va fi de doua ori mai mare decat un album obisnuit!

Brent Hinds, chitaristul trupei, a declarat pentru revista Guitar World ca noul album va fi impartit in doua parti. Prima parte va contine o serie de piese compuse de catre Hinds si inregistrate alaturi de Brann Dailor si Troy Sanders, iar cea dea doua parte va fi formata dintr-un un set de piese compuse de catre ceilalti membri ai trupei.

“My part is called Cold Dark Place – it has to do with a nasty breakup that I went through. I wrote some pretty dark, beautiful, spooky, funky, ethereal, melancholy music.”

“The other guys are writing another album, which I haven’t even heard yet, so I can’t tell you what it sounds like.”

Nu a fost anuntata nici o data oficiala pentru lansarea acestui material, dar il asteptam cu mare interes.
