Premiul pentru Best Rock Performance a fost castigat de Chris Cornell cu 'When Bad Does Good'.

La categoria Best Metal Performance s-au impus High on Fire cu 'Electric Messiah', castigand in fata unor formatii precum Triviu, Between the Buried and Me, Underoath sau Deafheaven.

Best Rock Song a revenit celor de la St. Vincent cu 'Masseducation' care a castigat in fata unor piese semntate Bring Me the Horizon, Ghost, Twenty One Pilots si Greta Van Fleet.
